The snow hasn’t yet melted, but we’re preparing for the 2008 softball season.
Warner usually fields teams in the 10-and-under and 12-and-under age divisions of the Kearsarge Mountain South league of Babe Ruth softball. However, because there were so few signups for the 10U team last season, it’s unclear whether we will have enough players for a team in either division this spring.
If your daughter is interested in playing softball in 2008, please (1) let me know as soon as possible by sending an email to poppabear at tds dot net, including your daughter’s name and date of birth and your telephone number and email address and (2) register on or before our sign-up session on Monday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. at Warner Town Hall. The softball registration form can be downloaded here.
If WYSA is unable to field a team in either or both divisions, I will work with the directors of the Bradford and Hopkinton programs to place Warner players with their teams.
