Just a reminder that the first day of spring soccer is tomorrow, Thursday May 14th. Be sure to send your child to school with an extra snack, water, cleats, socks, shin guards, shorts, and a shirt. See you on the field!

This past weekend’s tournament in Warner was a big success.  If you forgot to purchase a T-shirt commemorating the occasion, we still have some available.

WYSA’s major and most fun fund raiser for the 3rd year in a row is upon us.  Tomorrow will bring festivities and fun for the whole family.  Bring everyone you know to our 3rd annual Ducky Derby. Sponsor 1 or more ducks and watch them race down the river cheering all the way. It’s fun for the whole family and it helps to fund WYSA.

The race starts at the North Village Road Bridge and continues on to Riverside Park. There will be food and fun and a chance to win cash prizes! You can purchase your Ducky Derby Ticket from a player and their families or come to the concession stands during the games. $5 per ticket or 5 tickets for $20

We hope to see you there. It’s all for the kids!

Just a quick reminder that the deadline for WYSA’s fall soccer registration is July 1st. If you haven’t already printed the 2008 Fall Soccer Registration Form out and sent it in, you should probably do so now. We would love to see everyone return from last year that is eligible as well as any first timers wanting to give it a try.

Attention all Soccer Players and Swimmers! Monday, June 9th 2008 at 7pm Swimming and Soccer Registrations will be taken at the Warner Town Hall. Also note that British Soccer Camp information will be available too!

Registrations also available at Spring Soccer Clinic from 3:00-6:00 Thursday, June 5th at Simonds School. Call Rachel de Thomas with any questions at 603-748-1800.

3rd through 6th graders will not be guaranteed a place on a fall soccer team if registration is received past 07/01/08.

Also, please remember to return your Ducky Derby tickets if you have any!

Don’t forget, today is the soccer clinic at Simonds Elementary after school.  The kids will be released into the parent room and will then be escorted to the field for an afternoon of fun and instruction.

We are very excited about offering our spring soccer clinic for the 2nd year.  Fewer bugs, no flooding concerns and held right after school!!  After school means parents are not abligated to be there during the 3-4:30 time slot and we avoid conflict with our baseball/tball program.
